Funding Opportunity: Erasmus+ Programme – 2014-2020 (Youth Mobility)
The Erasmus+ programme aims to support actions in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the period of 2014-2020. It provides funding and support for organisations to operate projects consistent with its objectives and which encourage European exchange, co-operation and learning. Erasmus+ is funded by the European Union through the contributions of member states, including Ireland.
This is an ongoing project and there are 4 deadlines every year for the Erasmus+ Programme: 1st February 2018, 26th April 2018, 17 May 2018 and 4th October 2018. Over the years, a number of youth music organisations have benefitted from this programme including the Symphonic Waves Orchestra, County Wexford Youth Orchestra and the Young Dublin Symphonia.
Leargas, who runs Youth in Action is very supportive to those applying in providing help in filling out applications and provide training for applicants and for projects.
